Welcome to a cosy little 1 and 1/2 room flat on 2 floors with steep stairs in a friesian style carport on a property directly on the Elbe dyke in a very quiet village. There are 2 single beds and a guest bed, in case you have visitors, a reading corner and a desk, should you have to work during your stay and a bathroom with a rain shower. The tea kitchen is equipped with refridgerator, microwave, coffee machine, water boiler and kitchen appliances are provided for small meals. Bedding, sheets etc and towels are included. Optional laundry service, a hotspot can be installed at an extra fee.

The next supermarket is 3km away, more shops, ice cream parlour, restaurants, banks, district offices, doctors etc are in the village of Marschacht, about 5km from here, the next town of Winsen Luhe 7km, the delightful middle ages town of Lueneburg 20km, and you can see the outskirts of Hamburg across the river, but the city centre is about 40km away by Autobahn. The bus stops of Drage/Drennhausen and Drage/Elbstorf are about 500m to the left and right, which will take you to bus-hub in Marschacht and Winsen Luhe train station. and get you anywhere.

The flat 'countryside of horizons' invites you to extended walks and ample biking tours (the locals say you can see who is coming to tea next week), There is a little river-beach opposite the property and many more in either direction for swimming or fishing, and in walking distance: a lovely cafe, a pub, a boat club, a church and camping site with more amenities. Winsen Luhe boasts an international golf course and various sports centres and you can also explore the entire region, from the Lueneburg heather landscape via the marzipan town of Luebeck to the East sea and all the quaint little villages in the county.
