Our apartment building is located on the southern outskirts of Gernsbach. The "Pearl of the Murg Valley", as Gernsbach is also called, is located in the middle of the mountain-lined Black Forest Valley Road, protected in one of the most beautiful and largest forest areas in the Black Forest with around 14,000 inhabitants. The landscape conservation area begins right next to our house. It is only 700 m to the tram stop, 5 km to Gaggenau, 15 km to Rastatt (A5) and 35 km to Karlsruhe. The cosmopolitan spa town of Baden-Baden is only 8 km away.
